Chat at work
without anyone noticing
Can't install a messenger on your work PC? Chat in the browser. It looks like a spreadsheet or your inbox, and messages are encrypted and never stored on the server.
Made for you if
- Messengers are blocked on your work PC, so you keep reaching for your phone
- A chat window on your screen at work makes you uneasy
- You don't want your conversations stored somewhere
Features
Work-screen disguise
Chat, spreadsheet, mail or notepad. Your messages and theirs differ only by a subtle color.
Nothing to install
Just a browser. Same account on your work PC, home PC and phone.
End-to-end encryption
Encrypted on your device. The server can't read your messages.
Nothing stored
Deleted from the server once delivered. Leave a chat and it's gone from your devices too.
Quiet alerts
Silent popups, a count in the tab title, or phone push. Content is never shown.
Friends & groups
Add friends by @ID, connect code or QR. Read receipts and group chats included.
How we protect your chats
End-to-end encrypted, always
Messages and photos are encrypted with AES-256 on your device before sending. Neither the server nor Sogon's operators can read them.
Only passing through
The server deletes ciphertext as soon as it's delivered, and notifications never include content.
A sealed key for every device
Chat keys are delivered in boxes only that device can open, and each device's private key never leaves the browser.
Device control & key rotation
See your signed-in devices and sign out any you don't recognize. When a device or member leaves, the chat key is replaced.
Safety numbers
Compare safety numbers with your partner to confirm no unknown device has joined your chat.
Leave nothing behind
On a work PC, set how long messages stay. Older ones are deleted from that PC automatically.
